Yet Another Sad Day

Yup, you guessed it, I just buttoned up the RW for winter... Ran all the pink stuff... wiped all floors inside... cleaned all the stainless inside... closed it up... put the tire covers on.. All that is left is to unplug, run the extension cord up front and plug in the battery tender....

I really need to talk my wife into quitting her job and us moving SOUTH....

I am right there with you. I winterized last weekend and am now waiting for winter here in central Pa. I sure hope it is a short one.

You can't beat Arizona and California, you can camp 365 with a little planning.

Hm what with the time ? its still the 31st here ?

I feel for you. Days like this is why we endure the heat and humidity in the summer. Seventy five degrees here today.

Sitting on top of the mountain with cell phone reception, so we thought we’d see how you guys were doing. Our season opens tomorrow, just glassing right now. We got a trace of snow Sunday night and temp was 14* at daybreak this morning. Can’t complain about the weather, temps are mild but disappointed in the lack of snow! So far we’ve only seen turkeys and deer...no elk.

ford truck guy: hope you have a mild winter and good luck on the retirement thing, I didn’t think it was ever going to happen...one year retirement anniversary last month!

Gone on, keep rubbing it in Todd. . . Our fall has set a record for warmest, I am NOT sure how that will play out for us.. I have a feeling that mother nature will make it up in her own little way..

Enjoy your time in the mountains hunting... Some of my fondest memories are from sitting in the tree stand at 5am waiting for first light.! ! What a great time !

Look at it this way... At least your RV didn't get flooded via Harvey. Still wouldn't trade PA for TX buddy. Hope it's a short winter for you.

Well, hopefully in 15-20 years when we retire, we can pack up and do that... ENJOY ! !

I just winterized ours a week ago and put on the pad in the back yard. We will take a winter vac and a couple of short trips until the f'ver comes back out so we won't go nuts but we really miss the camper.
