I'd like to give a huge THANK YOU to Brad, the Moderator over the Truck Campers forum for his assistance with this thread.

Thanks also to RVcrazed51 for his request for this thread.

Post photos of your Fifth Wheel on this thread. Any photo with a 5er in it is allowable; any brand, any year.

This thread is generally for Fifth Wheel photos only. But feel free to post comments on posted photos.

Because this thread is very long, I will occasionally clean it up by removing the older posts that do not have Fifth Wheel photos and other off topic material. Also, please limit photo width to 640 pixels by using: width=640. Please do not post thumbnail size photos, they are just too small to see.

Register at photobucket.com (free), download your pictures (takes a while), hi-lite and copy the URL, then use the "image" icon to paste the photo URL.

Hi everybody, I'm looking to buy a fifth wheel, hopefully by the end of the year. And I was just wondering if some of you would care to post some pics of your fiver.

Texas train, I agree 100%. Nice rig and I like the full body paint. Ours only has the lower body paint but we love the room and layout in the Cedar Creek and the ride of the Denali.

Keownl,
Not so far, it is in the shop now for leaky and non-functioning slides. I guess since it is so new some dealer service centers do not know what to do with them. The original dealer was adjusting the torque on the main slide in the generator area but that is the adjustment for the bedroom slide. The main slide adjustment is in the basement area. Also, luckily we flushed the black water tank before we took it for work and found out the flush system was not fitted properly causing a leak in the basement area. Glad we were able to get both things done with one trip. They are going to replace the motors on the slides and it will be in the shop for another week, problem is we live in it during the work week so we have had to make other arrangements.
Did you ever get all your problems solved?

Had a Voltage and had nothing but trouble with it. Mainly on the slides, in the shop 4 times because of the slide and twice over the awning. Hope you have better luck with yours

Fairly new to the forum - spend most my time in the TH section, but rather enjoyed looking at all 92 pages of this thread.

Texas train...Very nice looking rig,Love the colors!

Thank You! We love it! I only wish I had closer matching colors between the two?!?! In the 2011 model yr they only made the Denali version of our truck in three colors "White / Black and Stealth Grey Metallic" I do love the color of the truck (Looks more greenish/blue to me)
Were thinking of adding a stripe or two to the Truck and Trailer to make them both more unique and matching!?! Any thoughts/suggestions?

Well Shane and vanessa, There is no short story behind this. So I will just condense as much as possible. I am old and getting set in my ways! Didn't want a huge truck or really stiff sm one! For 95% of my driving (unloaded commuting etc etc ) New 2011 3/4 ton has stabilitrac and electronic trailer sway control, integrated trailer brake cont. integrated engine brake, larger rims (20") w/"E" rated goodyears. Denali version and 4x4 added weight - reduced tow/haul capacity "But I like every available option!! So I set mind to makeing it work "right and safely" 3/4 ton Truck is exact same as 1 ton minus a few suspension and brake parts, So I Added Firestone airbag's "Air assist bag springs" to truck. Custom disk brakes to trailer ( had to add tekonsha P-3 brake controller for new electric over hydraulic on trailer. Factory GMC controller wouldn't work w/them) Came out with same exact ride unloaded as stock 3/4 and added weight ability of 1 ton with more pressure in bags. Also have Trail Air, pin box air bag suspension and Pull rite super slider (automatic slider) with Blue Ox catch plate (BED SAVER) The truck is well above adequite and able to handle the load and do it safely and a Rolls Royce ride, ... With or without the trailer. The new DMax diesel is 397 HP with almost "800" ft lbs of torque!!!!!!! Would pull that thing straight "UP A TREE" if it had the traction!
Its a two finger drive in cruise control. The last consideration.... Yes I have more invested in this rig, than a lot of motorcoach's! But for us it's the right combination!! Ya just can't get that kind of space and lux in a traveling home AND have a truely great "TOAD vehicle"in a motorcoach till ra really hit the big, BIG $$$$$$$$ and even then they don't drive/handle/turn and back as well. Just my humble opinion

STUNNING looking 5th wheel there!!

Forgive me for asking (bear in mind I'm from the UK where big trucks are unwelcomed lol!! I get the finger and abuse all the time cos of my F350 and 5th)

But your truck? it looks too small to haul that 5th wheel??? I wanted a 44ft Royals International BUT didn't buy it as I thought it was too much for my F350 to pull.

Here's my old girls
