- TxGearheadExplorer IIThere is a VanLeigh model with paint. I saw it on their website yesterday. Maybe called Beacon. I don't see many Vanleighs at all. I think the last one was actually at Richmond. Mostly what I see for sale used around Houston, at least at PPLMOTORHOMES.COM., are used DRV's and a lot of Keystones. They do have a nice looking Cardinal Estate with paint.

After the heat 2 years ago, we got tickets under the overhang. Then they went to night racing. LOL That is a loong haul from Houston just to watch cars go around. We try to combine it with some Smokey Mtn. trout fishing and some genealogy work at the Library of Virginia in Richmond.
I'll look some more at Vanleigh. I don't recall seeing any used ones for sale, but I haven't been looking either.
Last August we went from PA to Sarasota FL to Atlanta GA to Pigeon Forge to Bristol and home.. All in 2 weeks...
Spent 4 full days in the Smokies then to the race on Thursday AM..
Its a 12 hour ride home from Bristoldieseltruckdriver wrote:

They were on our short list, but lack of 12 volt outlets, small tanks and residential fridge only ruled them out. We both liked the build and floorplan.
That and - no full body paint.. no rear cap... They just look like they are missing something in my eyes..- dieseltruckdrivExplorer II

If it was August of last year, and in the Medallion Campground it was me...Or at least there were 2 of us there.. I was the one with Black and Silver
It was the spring race. Start Your Engines Campground, off Copperhead Road.
Not me.... BUT I am sitting in Richmond VA as I type this for this weekends activities !!
Hush yo mouth! LOL I have Commonwealth mezzanine tickets and spot #2 with 30amp and water at North Laburnam. Been there at that spot 4 years. Montana HC was half packed. Son in law was diagnosed with oral cancer and started chemo today. Wife says we ain't going nowhere. Daughter will need help with that 8 month old grandbaby.
Hope somebody besides Kyle Busch wins. GO SHR.
We really dislike #18 as well ! ! ! I am on turn 3 catch fence,,, new spots they opened last year... 50amp.. water, sewer..
PRIORTIES.... Gotta take care of family, My best to your son in law and daughter, its never an easy fight,... know, my wife was diagnosed with Uterine cancer last January.... Its a fight... Ill be here again in September, maybe you will make that race, we will crack open a cold beverage to celebrate !
I guess it was 2 years ago at the spring race when it was so hot. I was coming out of the stands after the race and a golf cart about ran over me. I looked and Kyle Bush's wife was the front passenger. Kyle was sitting on the backward back seat. White as a ghost, arms limp, and head down. They were headed to medical. He looked really bad. Last year was cold wasn't it? We got snowed on in Smokey Mtn. NP, then sleeted on at Bristol. Yeah anybody but #18.
2 years ago we went and purchased a blow up pool for my daughters from Costco.. it was 100 all weekend..At that time we were in the Laburnm South running of our Onan Generator and holding tanks.... and yes, last year's Bristol April race I THINK was ran the next day due to sleet and snow....- laknoxNomadWhat about Allen Camper? Still independent, AFAIK.

Lance was bought by REV Group (Monaco, Holiday Rambler, Fleetwood, etc.).
Tiffin is just motorhomes as far as I know.
Newmar as well.
Winnebago has some smaller 5th wheels. What I've seen doesn't do much for me.
Vanleigh is part of Tiffin and is build some rather nice 5th wheels. Winnebago owns Grand Design which has a robust quality program and seems to build a good unit with quality materials--albeit they are hand built like the rest of the industry. - TxGearheadExplorer II
