I've been researching these boards, reviews, etc. for the best services. I'm down to the following option, but need some information from anyone who has these services.

Page Plus - 1,200 Talk, 3,000 Text and 500MB at $29.95. If you have this plan and are based out of Florida what are the extra taxes on your bill? I'm trying to get a good estimate on the total monthly charges.

Any dropped calls, texting issues? Have you added a repeater or signal increase to your RV with this plan.

MiFi from Millenicom $69.95/20GB. Looking for total monthly charge - taxes, etc. for this service

Same as above ... have you had to add anything to increase signal strength when you are in remote areas.

Hi, I have been using the 29.95 plan with page plus for a couple of years. Anywhere Verizon works, this plan will work well. Look at the verizon coverage map and see if it will work for your area of Florida.

There are no extra charges or taxes. I actually pay LESS than 29.95 per month because I buy the pageplus refills online at callingmart and I use a discount code. This month I can purchase at 5% off.

I recommend pageplus wholeheartedly. I have all three kids on it and it is very easy. Think of it as generic Verizon. You can pick a different plan every month if you need to. You can also add a small cash balance to your account if you think you are going to run out of data. You can buy a new phone off ebay anytime you like and use it on the plan. It is supereasy to program a phone, takes about five minutes. The only catch is that you need to use a 3G phone. If you are going to use a 4G phone you have to get the phone "flashed" over to pageplus, and this is something most people will pay for.

The answer is there are no additional charges for either service. The price on their pages is an all exclusive price.

Page Plus - 1,200 Talk, 3,000 Text and 500MB at $29.95 is only $29.95. No extra taxes, etc.

MiFi from Millenicom $69.99/20GB is only $69.99 no extra fees.

2gypsies - good suggestion on the subject. Looking to see if I can update the subject line.

SCVJeff - I do have an email into them, but the best source for accurate and truthful information is from the people who actually have the service. Companies always "tell" you their rates and then here comes all those "hidden" fees. Which is one of the number one complaints in the cellular industry.

Have you considered simply picking up the phone and asking them?
You make it sound like the company is deliberately hiding charges from future customers (you) and the only ones that can quote you the correct price are existing ones.

Your operational and coverage questions are valid, but if you are splitting the bill down to the penny, then you need to talk to the company directly.

Page Plus runs on Verizons network you'll probably have some of the best coverage. The only cheaper thing I am aware of is a walmart tmobile plan for around $30- but the coverage isn't as good. Straight talk is another options at $30 but you don't get smart phones- they have service through Verizon, tmobile and ATT depending on the phone.

I saw you have an iPhone but not sure what service Verizon or AT&T.

I have an AT&T iPhone and it has a WiFi hot spot on it I had to call AT&T to get it and it works very well. As far as cost or data amounts I have the Mobil Share plan at $85 a month unlimited voice, text and 1GB data.
I know the data is not much but for me it works. You can boost up the data amounts for more money and that I will do if I go to Oregon next summer.

Check the coverage for Metro PCS. If it meets your needs it includes (so I believe) unlimited tethered data, no long distance fees, and unlimited minutes.

Coverage may be an issue--so check that carefully first.

We don't download movies or listen to music. We have iPhones and never come close to 1 GB so going to 20GB with Millenicom will be more then enough.

The Page Plus is for our Talk, Text and just some small needed data options.

Hoping to keep total budget of two phones and internet service at $130/month, but don't know what extra taxes and misc charges that are added to these plans.

Hoping someone has either one of these plans and can inform me of their total monthly bill.
