Where did I say I wanted to avoid the coast? Just because something is near a coast doesn't raise its perceived/relative humidity. In fact, because of the winds, humidity is often "felt" to be lower.
Include the west COAST, and carry on!

Don't get snippy, I was born and raised less than 3 miles from the beach, this isn't a guess.
I don't know where you're from, but on this planet the ocean and low humidity happen a few days a year with the Santa Ana's.
