Full-timing in same TT for over 10 years .. anyone else ?

We have full-timed in the same TT since March 2004 .. anyone else full-timing in a travel trailer?

We have been made aware of an underlining doubt when we tell people that we full-timing in a travel trailers .. many think it can only be done in a motor coach. And yet as we travel and volunteer, we are seeing more and more volunteers/full-timers who are doing just as we have been doing these past years.

I told DH about the Extend-a-Stay and found out that he had already bought one, just hadn't told me about it. Installing it is on his todo list. Meanwhile, he has arranged for Arizona Propane to service our moho when they do their regular rounds in the campground. We'll be here until March and they'll worry about propane for us during that time.

I have never had a desire to FT but we have spent three months in our TT, a month in the stick & bricks, and then back into the TT for three more. If and when I want to go full-timing, the TT will be fine. By myself, a Class B would do. For me it isn't about the space as much as the degree of organization inside it and we love the mobility of a smaller unit. lizzie

I know of several people that have been full timing in 17' Casitas,
one for 3 years and one for 11 years and still enjoying it! I could do it if it was just me.

I want to install an Extend-a-stay but there is not room to move the regulator over far enough to get it in there. So, I thought I would just disconnect the POL from the RV tank and attach it to a 30 or 40# bottle. Trouble is, I need an extension hose. It of course would need to be Male POL on one end and female POL on the other. Can't find such a thing. Any able to help?

We are @ 4 years in our TT.

We have full timed in our travel trailer for eight and one half years now.

Since June 15,2006.

Still gong strong.

We also have talked with people that think you must have a 5th wheel or Class A to full time.

Because of our unusual needs, a travel trailer is best for us.

Go over to cheaprvliving.com. There are tons of people there who full-time in a cargo van. Some are out of necessity but many from choice and preference. It's a whole sub-culture. I can understand the appeal of a minimalist lifestyle.

I have no interest in full-timing, but I would want a fairly large size travel trailer, 5th wheel, or motor home. There are certainly pros/cons to all the categories.

I like hearing about people full-timing in rigs that can't be full timed in. We FT in a 5er but we've seen every type of rig. The park we are in this week has a 50 year old bus, airstreams, TT toy haulers, just about everything but a B and TC at the moment all look to be in good shape and well taken care of, all full timers.
