Hi,
I am new to RVing in general & full timing in particular.
I am a Bi-Lateral Below Knee Amputee and need a seasonal place in the southwest. I have zero knowledge of the RV parks in that area and have been desperately searching online reviews for info. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I would prefer a smaller park to the large ones. It's hard to get around the larger parks.

There are so many parks and places in AZ and until you get a look around you just won't really know.

Pick a place to stay at for one season and look around as there are a lot of parks with many different and yet similar amenities.

I did notice a difference in the desert being different in Yuma as compared to the Phoenix area and the desert around Florence surprised me being so thick and green.

Good Luck

I would recommend Casa Grande, Az and in particular Fiesta Grande RV Resort.
PM ME for details.
One of the nicest 55 and over RV resorts I have seen. Friendly people and near hospital and shopping. Many activities. Most of us old guys have some sort of disability so you will fit right in. If you are bored in the park it will be your fault there is a lot to do.

rvparkreviews.com will have a listing of campgrounds by city in the state you wish to check out. It will tell you the size, amenities, price the reviewer paid and the reviews sometimes are helpful, such as telling you it's right next to train tracks or something. The review are posted by other rvers and there is also usually a phone # and a link to the campground website if you want to check it out further. A very helpful website that we use a lot.

Can you be a bit more specific......'southwest' is a very large area.

So. Cal, AZ, NM, TX

If you have a area in mind check out places at RV Park Reviews....LINK

Now I see you changed topic title from Southwest to AZ

Still.....got an area in AZ in mind. Use RV Park Reviews linked above.

Pick city/town and then research CGs with what YOU want
Lots of good info.......real folks opinions and even links to the CGs websites to check out further.
Is it time for your medication or mine?

Check Good Sam's website. That's what I use to search for a campground.
