Help with how picking a state works
I know the primary states for RVers to establish a domicile is Florida, South Dakota and Texas. But why would I choose one of them if they are not the states I plan to spend most of my time?
I’m still confused on how all this works. I’ll read one time that I can choose any state I want to call home, but how can that be true without a perminent physical address?
Most states require if you spend more than 30 days in state you must get that states drivers license and plates. Does that include if your in an RV park?
We will spend maybe 4 to 5 months in Arizona and I don’t want to be hassled by the cops with out of state plates.
Can you guys clear this up for me?
Harry
