Hitting the Road Full Time
In late August I will be leaving the charms of Minot ND (not soon enough I might add) to Full Time.
I will take the month of September to reach Arizona, spending time in Colorado, Yellowstone and Monument Valley on the way, spend a month IN Arizona (Tucson) and in November leave for the Baja where I will spend the next few months. I intend to end in La Paz before turning back north again.
With the arrival of Spring I will head back into the the States.
This is the second time I have tried to "Retire". In the past I have usually ended up with a business or two or more and working 12 - 15 hours a day...so this time I am hoping to just workamp at least once a year just for fun.
We will be having a couple of big yard sales to divest ourselves of all the stuff we have acquired in the past two years since we returned from SE Asia, that we really dont need to haul around with us.
So we look forward to a more relaxing pace and time to reflect, hike, bike, kayak, read, contemplate the beauties of life and the National Parks, the Baja and good food, fine wine and some new friends along the way.
I am hoping to follow up with some reports from the road and maybe even a blog (but God Knows just what the web needs is one more travel blog :) )
I hope to meet some of you along the way. The drinks are on me.
