We're out here!

Finally out here staying in an RV park for two weeks trying to tie up some loose ends before we actually hit the road. Don't have a real travel plan as yet...not sure if that's wise or not. We do plan to stay on the west coast for a while to get our bearings before we venture too far away, not to mention bad weather south and east. Guess we're being cautious for now but we're so excited to get started and experience our new life.

    yee-haw! what a great feeling just starting out with all your options open.

    You could head on down to Lake Havasu City and the London Bridge, then on to Tucson and a short visit to Tombstone for fun...San Diego was great over the winter and the fishing is good ;-)

    Not having a plan is probably the best plan.

    Having no plans is the best plan. Then you don't have to hustle to stay on schedule. Now you can relax and pace yourself as to how far you want to travel or which way to travel. It doesn't get any better than that. Safe travels

    Having no plans is no issue as others have said. You only need to figure out what you need to do to get through today. The rest will take care of itself.

    We are working to get there. Every day gets us closer, our plan is like yours, not to always have a plan. Enjoy every day.

    The worst day in your RV is way better than your best day working! Having no plan IS a plan, and a darned good one at that. One day you will be sitting there having breakfast and it will strike you that you want to go to ... and then you will realize that it will only take you about an hour to get ready and leave! Now THAT is a plan!

    When you are ready to travel, check out RVTripWizard.com. Great planning tool. Cost like $30 a year. List over 20,000 campgrounds including military, national and state parks etc.
