Be sure to tell the Canadian border guard that your in transit back to the US, and that you're not going to stop in Canada. This works every time for us. We've done this many times....
taking hwy 3 its about 4 to 5 hours drive depending on the time of day at 50 mph with short distance slow downs going through a few small towns
