05 workhorse chassis 8.1 L engine serpentine belt length

My chassis is ten years old and I am wanting to change out the engine belts I think there are two belts, serpentine and an AC belt. If this is correct can someone tell me there length. I hear say the serpentine is 103 or 108.5 inches but I don't know and is there a separate AC belt and what length? I just want to have some idea befor going to the auto parts store Thanks.
  • Lots of good info available for WH chassis mh's at OEMY's website. Here's a link to a list of DIY stuff OEMYs. Item #13 talks about the belt.
  • Rock Auto shows AC Delco PN 6K1080 (88932818) for a 2005 Workhorse P32 with 8.1L and a/c. Belt length is 108 3/4". My 8.1L has 2 belts, one serpentine and one that just drives the a/c. From what I can tell the Workhorse version only has the one belt as the list different sizes for with and without a/c.
  • The P chassis is 103" and the W chassis is 108.5". There is only one belt for everything. Be sure to check out BOTH of your idler pulleys for bearing wear. All it takes is a 3/8" breaker bar to take tension off of the belt to change it. Be sure to have a routing diagram with you to replace the belt as it will only go on with one configuration.
