1995 Allegro Bus Dash Air

Question

Hello all.  I have a new to me 1995 allegro bus 37. I need to replace the blower motor and squirrel cage for the dash air. There is a plastic cover/access under the front hood.  However, when I removed the screws, there is not enough room to pull the cover out. Any help is greatly appreciated.

On my Allegro Bus access to the blower motor is at the kick panel for the passenger.  There are about a half dozen screws to remove the panel and the blower sits right behind it.  Really simple fix and I did mine a couple of years ago.  I think the blower was a Chevy and it cost about $16.00 or so.
