2015 Ford Triton V10 engine oil Filler cap

I had the oil changed in December at a Camping World and then took the Motor Home back to the RV park and has been parked ever since. Now we are getting ready to get on the road again and I find the engine oil filler cap is missing! I am looking for a replacement but see there are different ones and not sure which will fit or what Ford vehicle to compare the Motor Home with on the Ford Parts list.

Anyone have any idea?

  • Shouldn't Camping World refund the cost of a new filler cap.
I'm sure it showed up after you left. Did a tech toss it in the trash to save face?

Always, Always check your rig before leaving any shop. We all make mistakes, but you have to take care of yourself first.

Remember the new techs start out with the grunt jobs...like changing oil.
My SIL found his oil drain plug leaking, the plug was just started in the hole, not even finger tight. (Not CW)

On edit: Did you look around on the engine?
  • That's what I have planned on doing just thought there might be a different way but will do exactly that now
