2016 Winnebago 33C Limited Access

Hi.

We have purchased a 2016 Winnebago Sightseer 33C. We saw our new coach at our dealer yesterday, shortly after it arrived. The dealer has to install some aftermarket items and prep the coach so our coach will not be ready until next week.

This is the first time we have seen a 33C with the slides in and there is very little room to move from the door to the driverโ€™s seat. There is about six inches between the recliner and the kitchen cabinet.

How has other 33C owners dealt with restricted access to the ****pit?

Thanks. Safe travels. JD

We have not had any problem getting to the rest room while traveling. It is tight ... but we use our slides when parked.

Great response! Most respectful way to neutralize a troll I've seen in a while. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sorry I don't have a direct answer. IMO it's a worthwhile point to observe the value of checking the floor plan slides in and out. Newbies reading need that info.

What I can't figure is K Charles hangup about curtains. ๐Ÿ˜„

Hi.

We didn't buy without looking. We looked at Winnebago 33Cs and Itasca 33Cs. We looked at them on dealers lots and at RV shows. And, of course, the slides were always out. My error was that I didn't have the dealers close the slides. If I had seen a coach with the slides closed the only difference would be I would have already asked this question.

We love the coach and the layout. Obviously a lot of other people like it as well because Winnebago has sold a lot of them.

Our previous Sightseer 29R had great access. This one is tight but that doesn't mean that it is necessarily something that would have changed my decision to buy. I'm looking for 33C owners that may know a trick or two.

It surprise me the number of people that buy an RV before they look at it.
It's not an answer I know. We have been looking for a class A but we won't buy one if curtain things aren't as we want.
