Adding a 3rd seat in 2000 Pleasureway

I recently purchased a Pleasureway Excel TD and wonder if anyone has information about adding a 3rd passenger seat.

I would have it installed professionally so someone can do the safety engineering on it. Adding seats is a safety issue. If someone is riding in the seat while moving, or if it's not secured properly and you get in an accident it will become a missile.

Some add steel plates UNDER the floor and secure the seat that way so the bolts don't blow through the plywood.

I wouldn't drill or weld to the frame as that will weaken the frame.

I think it would be easier with the twin configuration to create extra seating by adding seat belts to the twin beds and create two sofas. Then tuck up the belts and open the beds for sleeping. That way you can keep your microwave and extra closet space to keep the wife happy. A happy wife is a happy life.
