Air brush for detail touch up

I have a 2008 Fleetwood Tioga that has some very minor scratches which are not very deep. Some are about the width of a hair. They are on the painted surfaces of the outside walls, and were most likely done by branches. I have found a place to buy the Dupont touch up paint and will have it matched to match the paint on the motorhome. Due to the size of the scratches, there will not be any prep work required, and I am considering using an air brush. Using even a thin brush would likely be too visible. Has anyone used an air brush to do this type of detail touch up work? Thx.

Thanks. The scratches are about the length and size of a hair, and some of them barely break the surface. These imperfections are only visible if you stand really close and are actually looking for them, but they are my pet peeve. Since all of the scratches are on the green surfaces (top 2/3 of motorhome is white, and the bottom 1/3 is green), the scratches show up as white because the green sections appear to have been painted over fiberglass or part of the white painted areas. I will give the air brush a try and will give it as many coats as necessary until the affected areas blend in well with the surrounding areas.

The paint from an air brush is going to be very thin compared to what was shot on the RV. You'll have the color but you'll still have the depth of the scratch (es). I'd give it a try. You can get a suction feed air brush at Harbor Freight for dirt cheap. You won't be shooting precision stuff with it so it probably will work OK.

Compound rubbing has not worked. That is why I am asking about air brushing.

Before going the air brush route get some scratch remover rubbing compound. This will sometimes take care of the minor scratches in a painted surface. It's a whole lot cheaper and easier. If it doesn't work you can always then do the air brush route.
