Any Miramar owners?

The wife and are starting to get excited about our new Motorhome. We ordered a 2018 Miramar 35.3 back in February and it's supposed to be delivered in early to mid May. I know the Miramar line has only been around since 2014 but was curious to how many rv.net users owned a Miramar and what they think of them.

Bought a Miramar 34.3 in June 2016. Loved the bunkhouse floorplan and considered this our dream RV. So we purchased the Miramar 34.3 (got a great price). Unfortunately, ours had a long list of issues (many of which are expected for a new rig - to be fair). Our RV was manufactured incorrectly, however, as we found it had a 2 track Schwintek super slide system, when it was supposed to come with a 3trax system. The slide has never worked properly even after four repair attempts (the last at Thor in Indiana). Be sure to check your RV out as well as you can. I would even camp at the dealer if I were you. You will likely find a host of QC issues. Financially, Thor has reported substantial profits recently and may be pushing these RV's out the door to maximize profit. We found that customer service was inadequate and difficult - but perhaps we just had bad luck? We have revoked our acceptance of the RV and now find ourselves in an unwanted lawsuit to get on with our RV lives.... We hope you have better luck with your motorhome.

I have heard of many problems with the full wall slide systems not being installed with the 3rd track. The 35.3 has two small slides so hopefully we won't have slide issues. We are going to be staying the first night in the motorhome at the dealer so they can take care of any issues before we leave. We did this with our previous TT and fortunately, we only found a few minor issues. It seems a recurring theme about new motorhomes having many issues, regardless of manufacturer.

Seems I have heard about the auto-leveling system on other motorhomes having a similar issue. The dealer is letting me stay overnight in the motorhome when it comes in. That way I can leave it there if we find any issues (which I assume we will).

MetalG, I am a brand new owner...think you have seen my posts elsewhere. The 35.2 goes back to dealer today to get at least the 4 highest priority fixes done prior to Florida Spring Break trip.

Only 3 things were totally not expected and a little disheartening.
1. MAJOR water leak from Kitchen Sink
2. GFCI trips whenever ANYTHING is plugged into outlet above kitchen counter top.
3. Auto level system does NOT function properly. When auto is chosen (even on very flat surface) the front wheels lift about a foot off the ground and it stops right there.

If those things get fixed, I should be good for heading south.

Oh, also having washer dryer install done as well. DW made that a priority.
