anyone have this happen?

so im kicking back at home and we hear a strange noise... kind of a soft explosion/bang like sound.

i peek out back, shed isnt on fire (gas can propane bottles etc out there)...rv isnt on fire ( had it plugged in charging batteries while solar pannels off for work. propane tank full in that too.

hmm..go out later and do full walk around and find this

    Wow! thats horrible! Your tire cover blew up! :B

    I have NEVER seen anything like that before, a tire just sitting there and blowing up! Pressure had to build up in it somehow!

    supposedly a couple years old but apparently that tire is one day too old....

    last time i checked it( 6months ago) it had about 40 lbs of air.

    have a new spare i hadent got around to putting on yet.nows a good time.

    Haven't had that happen, but when an Andersen leveler breaks that's pretty scary too!

    either old and rotted or subjected to stress.

    any chance a stray bullet?

    BTW my spare is at 80 PSI, which is what I run in the rears, front is 65 PSI

    if id had the original metal ring cover on there i would have never figured this out untill i needed it lol.

    i have a heavy duty air pump so i usually keep my spares 40 lbs or so.
    admittedly i havent checked that in 6 months or so..one of my faillings.

    That's one for the books. Never seen this. Glad you were parked. Might check your tire guage.

    Bizarre. I've never seen anything like that.
    Give us an update if you figure out what caused it.

    I've not seen it, but I heave heard of it... As bizarre as it seems.
