Best monthly mid florida RV parks for winter

Wondering about the best economical RV Park or resort in Winter Haven Florida area.
We think we have decided on Florida for mid Jan through end of Feb and wondering about others favorite places to stay that are reasonable.
Prefer 55+ but that's not required.
Was thinking about Arizona and Texas but we prefer 70s during the day. As we have gotten older we like it up to 80 if humidity isn't really terrible.
Want to meet new friends and do some sight seeing while we are there.

    Try Rock Crusher Canyon in Crystal River. Jetty Park Port Canaveral, Anastatia State Park, St Augustine...just a few...

    Fly down for a few days, drive old Highway 27 south towards Lake Okeechobee. Lot's of parks, pick your pleasure.

    If you're looking for a nice reasonably priced park for the winter, within 5 or so miles of shopping, and centrally located, try Lake Letta RV Park in Avon Park. All I can say is that we enjoy it. There's no pool, but we wouldn't use one anyway.(863)453-7700.

    My sister and her hubby from Effingham IL always goes to the NATURE COAST LANDING RV PARK in Crystal River, FLA just north of TAMPA. They have been going there for years in their 5th WHEEL MONTANA... They head out in late December and come back in March or April I think it is...

    Might check that out. It is close enough to the Gulf to be pretty nice sitting...
