Brake Buddy making buzzing sound

I have a 7 yr old Brake Buddy Classic. I am a fulltimer, that let's the "wheels roll", I'm not a long term sitter around, so this bb has been well used. I had the compressor replaced 2 yrs ago. The bb is working, but now makes a slight buzzing sound, never heard it before. Any ideas?

    I have a Brake Buddy and have a lot of problems with the electrical parts of it. Now the compressor seems to be going out. When it dies, I WILL NOT go back to another Brake Buddy. IMO, they are not worth the price.

    Like Mandalay Parr, I would take it apart and listen. We have an original BB and it works great. It's a very simple device.
