Camco Extend-a-Stay 3 port T Anyone installed it?

Hi all,

We are full time in an RV in New Orleans. Propane companies cannot
deliver to RV parks here.

I purchased a Camco 59123 4 port T. In looking at the reviews at least 2 people complained of low flow problems, ie, their furnace and refrigerator would not run correctly. Others complained of not being able to get the connections gas tight.

Has anyone installed this part and what issues if any did you have?
I hate buying parts like that made in China but the price bumps way up
for the next level parts.

This T does have excess flow valves but no problems so far. Could be that was the problem the Amazon buyer had. There seem to still be some of the Marshall t's on Amazon and Ebay but just the t is 100.00$

Beyond that rambling answer, looking at the part from Camco, I don't see how you are going to cure your problem with it. The item you are looking for is an extend a stay fitting that installs between the on board tank and the on board regulator and allows connection of a separate cylinder to feed the system.

Unless I copied the wrong part no. that is what this part does.
Already installed and hooked up to a 20lb cylinder. I tested it by running a stove burner, fridge, water heater and furnace. Of course it is pretty warm here, 80 deg. Since we are full time, our plan was to fill the on-board tank next time we exercise the RV but run off the 20lb tank. The T came with a 5 ft hose and a 12 ft hose for a campstove or barbie.

We used the T by Marshal Brass for about 12 years on 3 different coaches. We used it for the ability to use an additional propane bottle to run things while parked for a longer period of time. It was a great addition. We never had any difficulty with any propane appliance in all that time, including stove, 2 furnaces or fridges. It worked great. You will enjoy the convenience of filling up a 30 or 40lb cylinder rather than unhooking and driving to fill up the on-board tank. Hope this may help, Happy trails Bert.
