60's are good engines provided they have no emissions junk added. Problem with any 60 is the torque rise isn't good but then it's in a MoHo not a big truck.

Easy to work on and make the lube oil dirty in 30 seconds. Take the valve cover off and they are filthy inside.

Was it urinating on the parking lot or sounding like a blender, or both?

Monaco/HR had the 60 as a $10K option until 2008. Would have been my engine of choice but could not find one in a 08. Needed a 08 because of a dumb 10 year rule.
This post is my opinion (free advice). It is not intended to influence anyone's judgment nor do I advocate anyone do what I propose.

Wanderlodge did use the series 60. Great engine.

Now why would you want a Series 60?

Answer: (Well one of 'em) My brother drove a Series 60 Professionally. he made out like a bandit because he had to buy his own diesel fuel and the company paid him based on the cost of diesel (A fuel surcharge was added to all bills and it went to the Owner/Operator who hauled the load) well with his 60 He was passing filling stations right and left while his buddies were pulling in to fill up

What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?
