- FormerBoaterExplorerAlso, if you are ordering filters as spares and staying with Fleeguard (Cummins) filters, your original oil filter for the C8.3 engine is an LF3000.
This has been superceded by a newer and better design.
New oil filter part number is LF9009. - FormerBoaterExplorerSince you just got the Tradition, I would take a drive down to the closest Speedco in Virginia for a full service on the engine, chassis and generator.
There is a location pretty close to you north of Richmond in Ruther Glen (looks to be just off I-95)
Get an oil analysis while you are there.
Total price will be likely less than you can buy the filters and oil regardless of the source.
You have 2 fuel filters on your rig, make sure they change both.
They will also test your coolant for freeze point and SCA levels. If SCA's are low they will install the appropriate water filter and/or add SCA liquid.
Enjoy the Tradition! - Executive45Explorer IIIX2 on Filterbarn...altho Ryder has filters the others don't.....Dennis

There are others also. - Iraqvet05ExplorerFind the part number for the filter then check Walmart to see if they have it or order it from their website or from Amazon. I've found Walmart also has the cheapest, name-brand oil prices too.
