My philosophy is to do it while you are younger, healthier and if you can afford it. I'm 45 myself as well. We can afford it and we are reasonably healthy. When we retire in about another 17 yrs or so, we don't know what our health will be. We will most likely be good to go, but I would hate to waste the chance of being able to do something now and enjoy it with our kid. Build memories for a lifetime for her and they her learn some good life lessons along the way. We could live in a house twice as big and. That costs twice as much, but why? We now have two homes and can enjoy one of them with various views.
Amen to that, amen. Health and relatively speaking wealth equal good RV'ing. My twin 8 yr old boy's already have a childhood treasured in good times and fond family memories they will never forget.
