Ok, I realize this sounds like a silly question (and it might just be) but my wife and I have had problems communicating the location of our baggage compartments. A typical conversation in the past may have had my wife describing the compartment as the second one or the big one with the extra shoes in it.Finally, I hit upon the idea of naming our compartments. Since she was born in France, I've named her compartment France. Mine is 'Merica. The one between them is Switzerland. The one with the cooler in it is Iceland.Do any of you name your compartments? How do you communicate which one you are talking about?

yup. I use "left" and "right". :)

We refer to ours as " passenger side 1 " , " driver's side 3," etc.

now that we have down sized to a C, I find it is easier. Wife will say, the one with my shoes in, (that is all of them). 1 to 6 odd on the left even on the rite

"The one above the couch" or "The one below the entertainment center" seems to work well - after about 8-years of attempts. And, BTW, left and right (or north and south) are definite no-nos in any location description.

I named only one...I called it "F^&*" when I hit my head on the extended slide above it...took a week before I could have the staples taken out....:B:B....Dennis

Driver side 1 thru 6 and Passenger side 1 thru 6.

I also have sheet in a cupboard that says what's in each one of them.
