Door Rattle drives me nuts....
The side entry door on our Class C has a bad rattle in it that is annoying whenever we travel on a bumpy road or one that has a lot of asphalt patching strips, etc...
The guy at the local RV place says it is from a broken adjustment rod that is inside the door. Guess this is normally used to adjust the door a bit if it gets a little out of kilter....
However, since it is broken and has come loose inside the door it is not doing us any good... Just causing the noise that bugs me.
The RV guy says they can try to open the door and see if they can resolve this problem... probably by cutting the rod off or somehow securing it so it does not rattle. He says the adjustment capability is not usually needed.
Anyone have any experience or knowledge of something like this?
Should I have them do it or is there some other better or less expensive remedy?
