Looking to put a better seat in the cab of a 2007 kodiak. I am looking for options with arm rests and lumbar support. Anyone try a semi seat or a nice SUV seat?

WOW I had no idea seats could do all that. I will have to keep looking for something used (maybe a recked semi) so I don,t have to sell a kidney.

Mine already has arm rests. For lumbar support, I took an old bath towel, doubled it and rolled it into a tight cylinder and tied the ends with twine. I just slide it in the seat back where I want it. Infintely adjustable as well as removable. Cheaper, too.

You'd be much better off getting an air ride suspension seat from the likes of National, in my opinion. http://www.industrialseats.com/product.asp?pID=240&pgrID=87&categoryID=23

Or, you could go nuts and get one of these and add heat, massage, etc. I really like these bad boys: http://www.seat-specialists.com/products/knoedler-extreme-lowrider.html

Or if you want the whole package in one easy deal, this might be your answer: http://www.suburbanseats.com/p-national-medium-duty-prem-2tone-tan-leather-gmc-pair.aspx?catid=221 (This is the route we're going to take, most likely (but for a Ford, of course)).
