engine mounts

Much of the answer depends on your ability and tools.

Yes, I have done it with hand tools and bottle jack (larger engine-- Cummins ISL).

My suggestion is to crawl under there (with appropriate safety stands) and evaluate it for yourself.

Just wondering, hope this doesn't sound too dumb but, may I ask why you need them changed? Are they in poor condition? Oil soaked? Damaged? The reason I'm asking is, our coach is an '04 Itasca Horizon 36GD with the C-7 CAT and it's motor mounts seem to be in flawless condition and, I'm the one that does all the work on that coach/engine so, I'm pretty much aware of things like this. Again, just wondering.

This is one of those jobs where I've seen Mechanics screw it up and take hours to do a 20 minute job.. Now to do it in 20 minutes takes a special tool. which was lying on the floor of the shop.. and the BRAINS TO USE IT. which sadly the mechanic did not have.

However I will support the professional help suggestion for they should have the tools... and you can damage things if you do it wrong.

Start a "Go fund me account" first. :S

Really easy.

Take that baby into the Cat shop and tell them "Change the mounts."
