Just a little more done today. Here's the new and improved door opening minus all the clamps. It was two 2x2s with a gap between them before. I measured it and it was the same size as a single 2x4! No sense making it harder than it needs to be.
I found another spot where a 2x4 was the answer. Now if I can get the center X'd in I'll be ready to put the foam back in and cover this floor back up!
I ran out of wood so we made a trip to Lowes for a couple 2x4s, a bunch of 2x2s, and one more sheet of 1/2 inch plywood. Then the sunshine got to us so we hooked up the boat and made a possible last river trip of the season.
