Please do not waist your money on e Green hose as shown on tv that says it is great
For RV's to use. It is junk and will break as soon as it gets pressure. I called them
And since I bough.t it at a store not direct they said to bad. They wanted me to order another from them direct. What a rip off. Wish I had read other reviews on line first.

I ordered the DAP heavy duty. It has metal fittings and seems much stronger. After reading reviews about the "green" hose I backed off and found the DAP

The profiteers you speak of are usually publically traded, the stock is often held by 401-Ks, retirement funds (including unions), meaning most of us are profiteers.

And if we did not buy imports, there would be no profit.

We are the problem.

those hoses are chinese made crap, especially the fittings. the shut off connector breaks easily and another one I bought leaked at the hose meets the fitting area. The original dap x hose (blue)with brass fittngs will be my last try, then over and out. Where is made in america anymore. Did the unions run labor and manufacturing out of the country? I don't know, but that hose would then be about $60 instead of $20, but it might last.

NO, greed of profiteers took manufacturing out of this country.

Wonder if they are UV resistant?
Most if not all Chinese ****** is not UV resistant and will fall apart after being in the sun for extended period of time.

So many mixed reviews. It seems there are 2 different "green" hoses out there, one is junk, the other ok. And now I see ads on TV for a black one that is supposed to be industrial grade. I'll stick with my regular hose.

Bought four, only one has not made it to the trash can. Stay dry and stay away from this hose.

I agree. We bought two of them for the convenience, but both blew out. Took one back to Walmart, and they replaced it.

My neighbor across the street had one burst right at the sprayer end. She got quite wet. The first one I bought leaked and I took it back to the store for another one. The second one started coming loose near the sprayer until the inner hose created a bubble before I turned it off. I wrapped that end with Duct tape and it's held so far. I think the hose is crap, but a great idea if it would hold together. I wonder if the coiled hoses might be better for the RV crowd? Although I have heard that only the wite hoses are approved for drinking water.

If you want them by the Dap version. It is much stronger and has metal fittings. Stay away from the green version it is just a poorly made rip off of the Dap.

Looks to me like a 50/50/ deal. Those are not good odds. I think I'll pass. Thanks for the heads up.
