Looking through my photos tonight thinking of updating my blog, I ran across a couple pictures of funny signs seen along the roads we've traveled. I thought I would share them here and maybe get a collection of others from you folks. It's healthy to laugh at least once a day...Dennis

I regret never taking a picture of this sign, so you will just have to use your imagination....

The sign was on the wall of the police garage and was apparently intended to reserve a parking space for the rape investigators' car.

The sign read simply: "Sexual Battery Vehicle Only."

(I always wondered what their jumper cables looked like.)

On the southbound side of the hwy before Lufkin Tx there is a billboard. Two full size 3-d (Full model) Holstein cows are writing; EaT MoR CHicKen. A standout in billboard creativity. Funny too.

There are a few of those...I saw one in either Pennsylvania or Ohio. IIRC, they're for Chick-Fil-A.

Years ago there was a sign along a road along a beach....soft beach sand on both sides of the blacktop. It was:

Warning, soft shoulder. Call tow truck before pulling off road.

There was a restaurant in old-town Hampton VA, where we lived back in the 70's.

It had a big front window with four panes in two rows of two. The slogan was

EAT DIRT

CHEAP AT BILL'S

Another sign I saw was on a truck in the UK delivering porta-potties to an event. The brand-name was "Porta-Loo"

The sign said:

"Porta-Loo - ideal for large public gatherings or for private functions"
