Generator Gauges

Anyone know of after-market instrumentation for a genset? I have a 1995 Cobra MH with a Kohler generator. We've been running the genset on the road to run the A/C and I'm stopping every hour or so to check that it's not over-heating.

Id too would love to add a set to my Onan 10kwQD -

if your mfg doesnt offer a plug and play set (onan does, but only for a few of its older models).
i think were left to add our own after market gauges.

Basically, I just open the bay door and sniff for that "too hot" smell. I'm not sure if the thing is getting enough cooling. I'm not even sure if it's designed to be running while motoring down the road.

How do you check it by stopping?

Isn't it air cooled? If all the baffling is in place and it is not obstructed, oil level okay, then you should be okay.
