How do I change a light bulb in my tail light fixture on my 2006 Monaco Knight? How does the lens come off to allow access to the bulb for replacement?

My '08 knight taillights are accessed exactly as ivylog suggested.
The tail light housings are 2004 chevy Silverado units, I had to replace one once.

If you open the back side door (outboard of the radiator) (like you were gonna check the oil or coolant) you can get to the tail lights from behind. you might have to remove the housings to get to the bulbs, but the housing nuts are back there.

Well,
That advice would be good IF, you could get to the actual socket/plug on the back of the tail light housing. I've not seen many that you can do that on. About 99.99% of the motor home tail lights have some sort of screws that secure, either the lens or, the entire tail light assembly, like the ones on our coach. If, there's no screws on the lens covers and, no access, this is incredibly strange.

That is of course, unless the entire tail light assembly is held in via a PRESS FIT. In that, if slight pulling pressure is used, it might be such that, the there are rubber grommets and pierce points that retain the tail light housing, and it will simply "PULL" out of the mounting system.

But, to be sure, do some close up investigation to find out.

This post is my opinion (free advice). It is not intended to influence anyone's judgment nor do I advocate anyone do what I propose.
