Our present Class C Forester is fine, just that when we try to visit in or near almost any large city there are no campgrounds close by. A few exceptions like D. C., San Francisco, Dallas, and a few others. However, even these require a toad or a rental in order to get around. For example, our son lives in Cincinnati, the nearest campground is about 30 miles. That and the necessity for us older folk to carry a necessary convenience that subs for a rest stop :; suggests a class B just might do the trick. We like the Forester, but it is just getting too big for us. In the past we traveled extensively in an 8' camper on a pickup with two small boys. (The boys were the only ones who fought). (We have been RVing since 1966, so know some of the ropes.:;)
Looking at Pleasant Way, Winnebago, Leisure Way, and Roadtrek, the Adventurous on the Sprinter seems to have what I am looking for. My questions that I have are:
1. Any feedback on the engine mounted 3500W generator vs the belly mount 2.5KW?
2. Cabinet construction quality?
3. Subbing the armoire for the 2nd row chair?
4.Overall comfort of the Sprinter?
Thank you
Dave
