I'd like to make contact with others who own one of the new (2004, 2005) Pace Arrows so we can share experiences, problems, good things, etc.

Love this site but keep losing it. Need to find lens covers for light over door and light on driver side above hookups. I can find the whole light but can't find where to buy just the lens. I bought 4 lens in Alabama but forgot where? Thanks

Awhile back I posted about converting dead space above my '04 37C refrig to storage. I popped out the thin filler that gave me access to the empty space above the refrig and built a fold down door with double "grabber" closers to keep the door closed on hard turns. Inside I built 5 inclined ramp trays, each wide enough for a standard veggie can and one ramp for 2 side-by-side tuna cans. I added stops at the bottom corners of each ramp to stop the cans from rolling up against the door. Each ramp can hold 6 to 7 cans and as you use them the others roll down to the front. I've reserved one ramp for green beans, another for corn, etc. For the slide out wire trays in the regular pantries I cut the wire from end to end along the bottom center and inserted a thin piece of plywood the size of the opening at the top. Pushing this to the bottom and sandwiching with a similar piece on the outside bottom the baskets are now square instead of wegde shaped. I glued auto-trunk liner (gray) on the inside bottom. Much better for boxes, bottles, etc.

With your being able to answer that question, I have one for you. The slide plastic door on the screen door goes in to a plastic dock on the frame of the screen door. Our plastic dock is broken the slide is fine, where may we purchase the plastic part that is attached to the screen door?

Thank you.

That may be due to the fact that GM is dropping the gas 8.1L engine...

Has anyone noticed that Fleetwood DID NOT manufacture any PACE ARROWS this year (2011)?

I wrote them to find out if that were true & here their response:

"The Pace Arrow is not currently in our production line and has not been since the 2010 model year. It's possible it will be brought back though, at some point, as there have been a lot of requests for it. Thanks again!"

I'm still looking for the part of the door handle that locks the screen door in place. It has the little lever that latches over the edge of the screen door so the two doors travel together. I had an internal piece break off, and now I can't find a replacement.

Jim, The PN from Fleetwood is 354852, at least it was a year or so ago. Black flat plastic with 3 elongated screw holes and the lever mounted to it.

Also...anyone else have problems with the glass in their cabinet doors rattling? My plastic retainer strips are always coming loose, so one of the things on my list today is to start to remove the doors and replace the retainers with a bead of silicon caulk. Our coaches rattle enough going down the road without adding the glass panes to the mix ๐Ÿ™‚

Some time ago there was a discussion of inverters on this thread. Based on my experience this winter, I need some info.

Above my propane tank, 1st compartment right of entry steps, I have a large device with battery cable connections to it. In the past, I though this was my CONverter, used to provide 12VDC to the coach and to charge my batteries. This winter I had some batteries damaged due to power loss and freezing, and discovered that my CONverter was actually mounted in the galley, on the floor, under the bottom drawer.

Since that discovery...I'm guessing that the device above my propane tank must be an INverter. If that's the case, and someone else has the same setup, what outlets are powered by the INverter? Is it on all the time?...I don't know of any switch anywhere that controls it.

I'm trying to replace the struts on a few of the basement doors and the part number that I pulled was Master Lift ML35-80. I cannot find that part sold anywhere. Has anyone replace the struts on their PA? Mine is a '06/36D model.

On a side note, I did pull out both TVs and replaced them with new flat panels. I just LOVE how they turned out!

Thanks,
Karen

Karen,
Here is another good link for gas struts: http://futuresalesrv.com/
I used the ML13-60. They also sell mounting hardware and may be a little more cheaper than some.

Karen,

Go to www.rvpartstore.com on their home page upper right hand corner the search our store, put in ml 35-80. The luggage door struts are $13.21. I have used this parts store for years and always go there first for my Fleetwood parts. While you are there search their site, they buy up a lot of Fleetwood parts from Fleetwood at the end of a model year. On their stie go to Products, then slide over to and click on Featured and you will get about 15 pages of Fleetwood parts.

That's the way ours came, presumably from the factory.

Another mod I'm considering on our 36D is to mount our 37" flat-panel directly under the cabinet that sits over the recliner. That's the cabinet that has our EMS mounted in it, and there is a window underneath. The widtch of the valence is 2" wider than our 37" TV. I can use a ceiling mount to go between the two lights, and use 2 clevis pins to disconnect the "pipe" from the mount and place the TV on the bed when we travel, which is where it goes now.
