From the article, this is a business that bought the rights to the name.
I'd be skeptical that they plan to build the quality the old ones were made to.
We've seen quality brand after quality brand fold the last few years, because people aren't willing to pay the costs to buy quality.

When someone tells you to buy the same rig they own, listen, they might be right. When they tell you to buy a different rig then they own, really pay attention, they probably know something you don't.

That brand name carries such a reputation for quality, it makes sense to bring it back. It's going to be interesting to see if they continue the dedication to quality that the original Chinook company exhibited.
