For those who have a Mac (who miss MSFT S&T or don't want to run MSFT S&T in a Virtual Machine via VMware Fushion) -
you might like Road Trip Planner - you could probably even run it in a Virtual Machine on a Windows Laptop (with Parallels)
Theres even a FREE version of Road Trip Planner (maximum of 4 pins/stops).
WAZE is not a road trip or trip planning software - its a NAVIGATION program with some (on the fly) searchable & realtime integration.
