on MH#2 (35' class A gasser) we used Goodyear (19" tires). over 15-yrs we had no issues.
on MH#3 (40' class A gasser) we went with Michelin (22.5" tires). kept that MH for 7-yrs. one problem in year 2 traced back to an issue we had on a county road in AL. as we rounded a curve on a narrow 2-lane country road we encounted a massive hole in the pavement. not really a hole...half of the pavement wasn't there. the missing segment was 3-4' wide, 6" or so deep and about 20' long. i was able to slow down but not stop. the MH rocked to the right when the front wheels hit and then back to level just before the rear wheels hit. scared the you know what out of us. we had slowed from 20-25 mph to maybe 10-15 mph so damage was limited but I neglected to have the alignment checked. the next season i noticed some nasty sidewall scraping on the steer tires so I replaced those Michelins with Michelins. no issues for thr next 5-yrs.
