Well, it didn't for YOU and that specific set of batteries in your specific set of circumstances.
Are you implying that everybody touting the advantages of AGM are ALL lying....or that they are all just stupid ??
In my experience, AGMs have been all that I have used since shortly after they came out. Cars, trucks, tractors, lawn mowers and motorcycles. The maintenance has been less and the life much longer.
I personally see no reason to believe that would be different with an RV application.
But YMMV.....even with batteries.
P.S. My latest replacements were Deka AGMs from a local battery specialty shop. They were each $100 less than the ones my RV dealer wanted to sell me from NAPA.
