New Air Conditioner

Just replaced the Fedders Air Conditioner with an 8000 BTU LG in my 2000 Xplorer Van. Fedders wasn't blowing cold air, and the compressor wouldn't start. Rather than try and get it fixed, I just got the new LG for $219 at Walmart.

Yes. Buying it was they "hooray" part. Installation, well that was a challenge. At least for me. Let me know how it goes.

Vince, did you replace that air conditioner yourself?

I know at least one other person who, in an effort to stay cool in their (RVan....a term they use, which I like better that "B":)) had gotten one of those portable A/C units (where you put the hose out the window, to get rid of the hot air), and love it.
Not very expensive, and serves the purpose on those really hot days.
