My 7.5K diesel generator is acting up. I walked by the front of the coach and heard a ticking sound. Lifted the hood and the status light was on the the generator was ticking like it would if you were pre-heating. I pushed the rocker switch and the light went out and the ticking stopped. The next morning, same thing happened. Talking with my neighbor in the park (in Florida) with the identical coach and he has the same problem. There are no codes and the unit runs fine and puts out power. 400 hours, model 7.5HDKAJ11451K
Any ideas?
