Our first night in our 2013 RT RS Adventurous

Had our first overnighter in our new RS. Comparing it to our 190P, it is 2 1/2' longer and a few inches narrow. It felt very roomy except for the cabin area between the seats. I wasn't sure if I would like the enclosed bathroom, but after having a chance to actually use it, we both liked it only in the respect that it gave us more isle room when one of us was showering. As far as, interior room in the bathroom, it was manageable, but the isle shower wins for more elbow room. No walls to bang into. The extra couple of feet in length was great. In the 190P, the floor space was limited during a shower and prevented the other from moving more freely. With the RS, we both had our own space for getting ready and was able to more around the entire area. The ride was comfortable and smoother then the 190P. The extra length was noticeable when parking, but with the spare tire on the back of the 190P, we would be selective with parking spots anyway, so that is a wash. All-n-all, we both agreed we are glad we moved up to the RS. Best part....no "engine" light came on ;o)
  • Good news.We understand your measured analysis of the differences between the 190 and RT RS. Kind of relates to our own experience with the PW Plateau TS. But, we moved down in size from a Winnebago Aspect 26a. You will come to prefer the enclosed bath/shower and get used to the confined, but quite useable space. We almost never use public facilities.
