Pleasureway Factory tour

We just toured the PW factory in Saskatchewan Canada this week. What great people and
talk about being wowed. We have a 2006 Ford Exel B class. There are a lot of new units coming out from various manufacturers. But if your in the market for a new class B or B+
all I can say is wait a few months and check out the new units from PW. These people sure are
on the right track in my mind. Very inovative new products will be coming out. We love our
PW the construction is very high quality and when we upgrade it will be another PW. Sorry
to say the Transit van will not be out for a while yet. If you ever get close to their factory
give them a call and see for yourself how they are made.

I just read that the Plateau XL is only 22 feet long which is a plus in my opinion. The bed measures 60 by 74 and msrp is $131,170.

We just bought a new PW Pursuit to replace our old 2006 Excel. Very satisfied so far on 2 trips total 4000 + miles.

We had a Solera with a Murphy bed, we loved the queen bed but not the way it worked. We are very happy with our Pursuit. But the new unit looks nice too

It does not look like PW is getting out of the Class B business. The still list the Lexor based on the 2014 Chevrolet Express 3500, in addition to the MB based Plateau (2) and Ascent.

Just got internet back as we are on a extended trip across Canada and the US. Yes PW is working on a promaster and will be up fitting a transit when they become available. They have not forgotten the true B
class. The new murphy bed works well, we did see one but we are not interested in a Sprinter based unit.
We were told you can walk around the bed when it is extended. We really fell in love with the new Pursuit
and would go that route at present. But we are waiting for the Transit. Hope this answers some of your questions. Bob

Looks as tho other than the sprinter, pleasureway is getting out of the class b business.. all their new units are b plus style which is not a class b. More room, but less driveability. Maybe they'll dip their toes into the promaster or tranist when it comes out.. Sorry to see them go..

The skylight should help with the lack of windows. I wouldn't really find that an issue to be honest.

I'm wondering how they managed the Murphy style bed with no slide. And there still appears to be plenty of area to walk around it. I guess it's a sideways MB whereas the other manufacturers who have used it drop it head to foot.

I think the whole thing is wider-probably a 74 inch murphy bed

PW quality but lack of windows is a poor non-feature. Frankly, I prefer the Pursuit 22ft model. Lots of windows and a wide, power couch/bed at rear plus the same quality bathroom. I dont see it being popular.

Like this floor plan a bit better. But what I don't get is the couch folds, and then a murphy bed folds down on top of it. Seems like a huge space waster to me. The Prestige has a queen size fold-down sofa. Is this new arrangement a king? I just don't get it. Otherwise I like this one.

I like the idea of not having to make up the couch as a bed, leaving the bed made, sans pillows, and just pulling it down to sleep.
Easy peasy.

Looks very similar to the Prestige - perhaps a bit smaller inside as the Sprinter cutaway is narrower than the Ford E450.

This style of RV is always going to look like an ice-cream truck. Not much they can do with a box on a cut-away.

Did you ask them about the Transit? Was it just the stock answer that everyone is giving that "it isn't out yet."

Francheska said, "sorry to say the Transit won't be out for a while" so I take that to mean asked and answered?

BTW, they are calling it a Plateau XL but it is not a B like their Plateau model. Once again it is a small C on a cutaway chassis. Since they took the XL moniker do I assume they have no plans for a true Sprinter van Extended Length 24 footer?

Three tiny windows in the body plus another tiny one in the door. That thing is like going into a cave, it appears.
