Power Gear slide/jacks working intermittently

Ok so here is the deal. I have the power gear slide/level jack system. It works great, lots of power and very strong.... when it works.

I believe it has to do with the parking brake... In the past when I would engage the brake, occasionally the system would not power on, and I would release the brake and re-engage it, and all would be well, powergear would fire up and allow slide/jacks to work. Lately, its been more problematic.. I can engage the brake up to 10-15 times before getting a successful powergear enable, sometimes even more.

I am trying to track down where the (I assume) limit switch is that controls this. Seems to me there is either a loose wire, or the switch needs to be replaced. Anyone have any ideas where this might be?

The motorhome is a 1999 Fleetwood bounder 34v with a ford v10 gas engine.

I opened my flip up console and saw the park brake limit switch. I adjusted the switch and tightened the wires and all is well. As I thought powergear tapped into the stock parkbrake switch/harness rather than installing new devices.

yeah it has a park brake pedal like most pick-ups and SUVs have. I see only one limit switch (unless I am blind or missing something), which I had assumed was for the computer to realize the brake is engaged and show me the pretty dash light. The dash light does come on each time the park brake is applied.

Thinking about it, would it be possible that power gear would just simply tap into the limit switch thats already there, or perhaps the wire (or harness) that tells the computer and/or dash that the brake is applied?

Does it have the park brake pedal like my W22 workhorse did?...the switch connection is probably right there if it does...
