I would like to compare some of the higher end Tiffin, Newmar, American and Entegra Motorhomes. Will there be more displayed at Quartzite or Tampa?

the Jan FMCA event in Indio CA is actually the Western Area Rally.

FMCA's 95th International Convention is planned for March 7 through 10, 2017
at the Rawhide Western Town & Event Center in Chandler, AZ. I'm sure there will be a lot of display RVs there.

Actually the Hershey, PA show in September has the largest number of coaches on display. Every RV manufacturer is represented with every model they produce. So if you don't find anything in Tampa try the Hershey show in September.

Thanks for the replays. Looks like we will be going to Florida in January.

... or if you'll be West, FMCA used to have a big rally in Indio, CA.

They still do, thi years start on Jan 11 at the Indio Fairgrounds.

The Indio is an area rally which is not is not as big as the international convention. The coaches at an area rally are supplied by local dealers and will not have the large selection as a convention.

You can get a 2016 Official Program Directory showing the Who's-Who of companies included in the show. Anything you want to see in RVing will be there. Here's the link! I'd expect the 2017 will be out soon!

I recommend the Tampa show, if the time and place are right for you. That's where I started after coming back into the U.S. and wanting a look at everything. Most of the major dealers in Florida and southern Georgia bring stock, supplemented by units direct from factory.

You won't see all models there (dealers don't always stock everything in the catalog) but you should find all mass produced brands, all model lines within the brands. Central Florida dealers will have yet more in stock back at the store location.

Tampa Show - just about everything you can think of.
You might want to consider staying on the grounds in your RV - saves the morning traffic jams to get in and ticket sale line ups. They used to offer a rally pass that gave unlimited admission into the grounds (could walk), coffee & donuts in the am, entertainment and light refreshment in the evenings. It was dry camping but fun to stay and talk with other campers and shoppers.

There is probably info on their website.

Definitely NOT Quartzsite. Tampa is an excellent show if you are on the East Coast or January FMCA in Indio, CA.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?

We've been to both and for motor home shopping Tampa is much better.

I agree, although I haven't been to the Tampa show.

We go to Q most years and it's not a good place to shop for high end RV's IMHO. There are usually a few used Prevost etc. there.
