I tackled my issues on rear lights.....My lights are working OK now but don't ask me what we did to solve the issue? Even though I'm saying it is solved it still works OK but now the brake lights are working on the red lens and also on the amber lens which is OK...the more lights the better. The signal lights and emergency lights work OK so I am leaving well enough alone.
Thanks again for your help, it has been fun and another job well done.
Actually it's NOT OK for your AMBERS to be brake lights. Yes, I kind-a agree with you that "more lights are better" but, for the general public out there, and the "norm" they see on a day to day basis, while following just about any car/truck/motorhome/motorcycle etc. down the road, they WILL NOT SEE AMBER BRAKE LIGHTS. So, in high traffic conditions, freeways, crowded county roads, intersections, looking for campsites in cities etc., it may be confusing to drivers behind you.
Now, they're behind you so, you might not care about what they think. It's up to you. Bad grounds are a very common problem with vehicle lighting. It's something that maybe might be part of your problem. And, you may have touched something, wiggled something etc. that may have temporarily improved that ground which, may have made your Brake lights actually work where they're supposed to, without you actually doing ANYTHING.
Scott.
