I have Progressive insurance for my RV. Was looking at my policy and saw I have RA. I also have Coach Net. Coverage looks the same. Anyone use Progressive RA, Should I drop Coach Net.

X-2!! Coach Net will tow you from Alaska back to the lower 48 if need be. Doubt Progessive would do that!

I have used Progressive RA twice (both flats), once on the side of the interstate and once in a campground. Both times they called to see if the people showed up on time then to check on me when it was over. Never an issue.

RA is why I changed from State Farm to Progressive for my MH. State Farm uses their auto policy for RVs and Progressive's is designed for RVs. I compared Progressives with Sam’s and found little difference.

I’ve not had to use RA yet but Progressive has handled two substantial claims with fast professional service and in the five years with them my premiums have changed very little.

Some roadside assistance riders on insurance policies will repay you for a service after you have not only paid the provider but found one yourself. Double check that you actually have a 24 hour dispatch phone number that finds, dispatches, and pays for the service.

Well I'm going to find out how Progressive is with RA. I just had it added to my policy and will drop AS RVRA. So happens both policies renew about the same time.

Call Progressive and see if you can get some roadside technical assistance for your coach, like you can from CN. With CN you can talk to an actual mechanic that may help you through your problem when needed. It is not always about changing a tire.

Thanks for the replies, I will not renew my CN membership.

Read your insurance policy......Most with RA will only cover the insured vehicle, nothing else. If you are towing a trailer, it may not be covered. If you are using your toad, it probably will not be covered. Read your policy, before you drop your other coverage.

Drop one. No use doubling but, make sure they tow you to the nearest RV repair facility if you request, otherwise they can tow you to a truck repair like Freightliner if you have a Freightliner Chassis and RV's don't get priority at FL. On the other hand if you have a Cummins, you want a Cummins Repair Facility. I am not saying FL is bad because the repair facility in Springfield VA is one of the best for Onan. We have Erie which covers Roadside and towing, our choice.

Had progressive for several years with a Class "C"

During that time they changed 2 tires,
and towed to facility twice to replace fuel pumps, once including a car carrier I was towing with a PU on it. They covered the towing for both, which included 2 trips.

Currently using Geico Roadside Assistance for the Motorhome. Made arrangements to come to site to repair flat. They reimbursed full cost of onsite repair including taxes.

The only issue I had with Geico was they wanted to tow me to have the repair made. I chose to use an onsite service, and received fast reimbursement.

I don't use any major RA company anymore. I have had both GS and CN over the years. They won't tow if involved in an accident, insurance will.

My insurance covers both events at a less expensive rate.

That's my choice, and has worked for me, others mileage may not be the same.

Make sure they will change a inside rear wheel.
