Roadtrek Battery Problem?

Took a 3-day jaunt to a nearby State Park, and everything went well until I stopped at the dump station on the way out. When I pushed the button for the macerator, nothing, no sound or any indication it was getting any power. I had been plugged in at a campsite with electric & water, so the batteries were fully charged.

I turned on the ignition to see if that made a difference, and lo & behold, the macerator worked. Still didn't know what the problem was, but at least I could head home with empty tanks. However, when I got home I noticed that the refrigerator, which had been set on DC when I left my campsite, was not working at all. No lights on the control panel, and neither the LED nor fluorescent lights worked. No DC power at all, despite the battery monitor showing 2 (of 4) lights. All 4 had been on at the campsite.

I thought perhaps I had tripped a circuit breaker when I disconnected from the pedestal at the campsite - that happened once when connecting - but they all checked out. When I plugged in at the house, everything seemed to work on AC. Usually, when something goes wrong, I eventually trace the problem back to Operator Error, but this time I don't think I did anything.

Any suggestions before I take it in for service?

Sounds like bad batteries. At least I would check them first. Also battery disconnect.
