Screened Canopy

Maybe not the best section for this, but its the section I hang out in most often...

Can anyone recommend a good screened canopy for using at a campground. Looking for something that can be set up over a standard picnic table to keep the sun, light rain, and bugs off.

Thanks for the input. Sounds like there is about as much agreement on here as there are on the Amazon reviews!

Rockhill, I did look at the one you suggest. (It is actually cheaper than the Coleman) Reviews on Amazon seem to like the Coleman because it has extra legs supposedly equaling more weight and more sturdiness.

My biggest concern is whether there is enough room to get a picnic table inside, and if you do, can you get anything else inside.

If anyone had any photos of a canopy in use, I would really love to see it!

I have the Coleman mentioned above. It works exceptionally well and has withstood some quite high winds even without the guy lines fastened. It is heavy but this is probably one reason it withstands the wind well.

IMHO don't buy this type.

Get an instant up type of canopy with a screen attachment.

I've looked at them all and IMHO WENZEL canopy is my first choice.
Well built with a screen attachment that FITS and WORKS. AND can withstand inclement weather.



Pricey but I've bought several cheaper versions and they have all fallen apart. For what I spent on them I could have bought 2 Wenzels!
They come up on sale quite often and other companies honor a sale price from another.

We have two, one about the size you are looking at and one a little more than twice that size.(easy to set up?:E)
The small one travels with us most of the time and works fine with two or three people. Saves us from bugs, hot sun, or light rain.

The large one comes out about once a year when we need to accommodate two large tables and ten people. (I should make a youtube video of setting up the big one. It would show why we travel with the small one.)
